2007-2008 Sponsorships

If you have not picked up your sponsorship packet as of this date 9-26-07, please do so at Syracuse or Ark City. Packet will be located in the rodeo office with Val. Extra sponsorship forms will be on the website w/in the next week for you to download and have at access to.

Sponsorships are voluntary, however, the sponsorship monies that are collected contribute and help pay for your Year-End Awards; saddles, headstalls, buckles, etc and the National Team travel money.

Goal – to have every member of KHSR go out and get at least one $100 sponsor. This is your association, your participation does count!

Last year out of 185 members, 20-25 members raised $32,000 in sponsorship monies and/or product value for the awards. I have a feeling however, this year we can surpass that amount.

New sponsorship deadline date for this year is APRIL 1, 2008. This is also the deadline for Sponsors who wish to be a $1500 Exclusive Saddle Sponsor for KHSRA this year. Please abide by this deadline the best that you can. Phyllis Wilson and her class will be putting the State Finals Program Book together again this year. This is a huge project to undertake, so please be observant of this deadline:

April 1, 2008

The Board of Directors has established a sponsorship incentive for you this year. The three top members who raise the most in monies and/or product value (T-shirt sponsors, product give-away, etc.): will receive and be recognized at State Finals Thursday night during Opening Night:

#1 $300 cash

#2 $200 cash

#3 $100 cash

This is dependent on sponsorship forms being complete and turned into Kim Holland.

State/Platinum Sponsor $2000

This donation will go towards the following:

· Trophy saddle for the event winner

· Trophy buckle for the event winner

· Buckle for reserve champion

· Third and fourth place buckles

· Prizes awarded at state finals

Sponsor will receive the following:

· Advertising in the KHSRA Official magazine –Rodeo News

· One full page ad in the state final program & Recognition on event page in finals program

· Flag or banner (supplied by sponsor) displayed at all qualifying rodeos and State finals

· Prizes Awarded in sponsors name at the State finals for the all-around champion

· * 20 Free tickets to the state finals

· Year Round recognition

· Recognized Sponsors on the official Kansas High School Rodeo web site www.khsra.net

· National Team Picture in awards plaque

Saddle Sponsor $1500

This donation will go towards the following:

· Trophy saddle for the event winner

· ***** Please note – if sponsor of saddle wishes to have name on trophy saddle, this money must be turned into Val Worrell by 4-1-07. No exceptions. Saddle maker must have ample time. After this date, a silver plate with company name on back of cantle. We appreciate your cooperation.

Sponsor will receive the following:

· Advertising in the KHSRA official magazine –Rodeo News

· One full page ad in the state final program

· Flag or Banner (supplied by the sponsor) displayed at qualifying rodeos and the state finals

· Saddle awarded in sponsors name at the State Finals and recognized in the state finals program as the exclusive saddle sponsor.

· Picture taken with event saddle winner at State Finals

· *15 Free tickets to the state finals

· Recognized sponsors on the official Kansas High School Rodeo web site

Gold Sponsor $1000

This donation will go towards the following:

This donation will go towards the following:
