It’s hard to believe that 2009 has come to an end and it won’t be long until it is
time to begin the spring schedule of the 2009 – 2010 KHSRA season. Before we know it the time will
come to pack up our trailers, load our horses and hit the road once more. As we start the New Year and prepare for the spring
season we can eagerly look forward to reconnecting with old friends and maybe making some new ones as well.
Our first rodeo is in Kingman on March 13 - 14, 2010.
As the spring schedule begins for the 2009 - 2010 KHSRA season let’s do it in the spirit of the mission statement
for our organization: to promote the sport of rodeo and the highest type of conduct and sportsmanship and expose its positive
image to the general public. As your Rodeo Queen, it is an honor to represent a sport dedicated to preserving Western Heritage
while offering the privilege of family bonding and an opportunity for continuing education while maintaining the highest regard
for livestock. I look forward to seeing everyone in Kingman! Practice hard and safe travel to all.
